Ground Installation
Installing the Ebb and Flow Mat capillary irrigation system on the ground is extremely easy. The surface of the ground should be graded and level. This can be accomplished multiple ways. One of the simplest ways to achieve a level surface is to use pea gravel to fill in dips and depressions in the ground.
The illustrations to the right illiterate the difference between a good and bad ground installation. The picture on (top) shows a Mat on the ground with a slight slope and a level surface. The picture on (bottom) shows poor surface preparation. However the dips can be filled in with sand or fine gravel.
