Bench Installation
The Ebb and Flow Mat capillary irrigation system can be quickly installed on nearly any greenhouse or nursery bench with little or no modification. This is the major advantage of the KISSS Ebb and Flow mat when compared to traditional ebb and flow and capillary systems. Benches can be made of any material as long as it is reasonably supportive and even in grade. The Mat can be set up on indoor benches (top) or outdoor benches (bottom).
In one greenhouse, the grower planned to replace his old, unsightly benches at the cost of over $3,000 per bench. He found that he could keep the benches and obtain the superior Ebb and Flow MAT system at less than half the cost of replacing the benches.
